Get set up
- Download Shaxi Organizer, or use shaxigh.com/organizer, and create your organiser profile. You can also start from Host an event in the Shaxi app.
- Free events need no verification. To sell paid tickets, verify with a government ID; a selfie and business certificate are optional. Shaxi aims to review within 1–2 business days.
- Paid in-person events finish setup in Shaxi Organizer before you can submit them; the website shows Continue in Organizer.
Create the event
- In Shaxi Organizer: Basics → When & where → Tickets → Policies → Cover photo → Review & submit. On the website the steps are Basics, When & Where, Tickets, Media and Review.
- For each ticket type, set a name, a price in GH₵ and how many are for sale. On the website you can also set a limit per order (up to 50), and one sales-close date for the whole event on the When & Where step. Website buyers can take up to 10 tickets per order.
- In Policies, tell buyers what to expect at the event. Tickets on Shaxi aren’t refundable, so buyers who can’t come transfer their ticket instead.
- Submit. Shaxi reviews every event before it goes live, and changes to a live event are reviewed too. Ticket quantity changes apply straight away.
Fees and payouts
- Shaxi takes a fee on paid tickets (7.5% today). Free tickets carry no fee. Your earnings are ticket sales after discounts and the Shaxi fee.
- Your earnings go to your Shaxi wallet 72 hours after the event ends, unless there’s a financial hold. Payouts from the wallet aren’t automatic yet: contact Shaxi support to arrange yours.
Your team and gate day
- Add co-owners, editors, managers or revenue viewers (Finance viewer on the website), each with their own permissions. Only the main owner can invite a co-owner, and people get access after they accept.
- Invite scanners and gate managers by the phone or email on their verified Shaxi account. They get a notice and an SMS link, can accept in the Shaxi app, Shaxi Organizer or on the website, and scan in Shaxi Organizer.
- Before the doors open, download the tickets onto each scanner while you’re online, so scanning keeps working without internet. By default, check-in opens 2 hours before the start and closes 2 hours after the end; a gate manager can change this.
- A guest with a dead phone can be found by name or the ticket’s serial number. A gate manager admits them, giving a reason; this needs a connection.
While you sell
- The dashboard shows sales, the latest orders and check-ins live.
- Create discount codes: up to 500 single-use, fixed-amount codes per batch.
- Use Message attendees to send updates by in-app notice, push and email.
