Buying event tickets on Shaxi

Buy your ticket

1. Open the event in the Shaxi app (Events) or at shaxigh.com/events, then choose a ticket type and how many (up to 10 per order on the website). Paid online events are sold on the website only.
2. Sign in to Shaxi, or buy as a guest with your name, Ghana phone number and email. Names on tickets are optional.
3. Have a promo code? Enter it at checkout.
4. Pay with Mobile Money: MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money. A prompt appears on your phone; approve it with your PIN. Nothing is charged until you approve.
5. Your tickets are held for 10 minutes while you approve.

If the payment doesn’t go through

• Only one MoMo payment of yours can wait for an event. If the time runs out while that prompt is still waiting, you may not be able to start again until it clears (up to about an hour). Check My Orders or Find my tickets first.
• Check your MoMo SMS. If money left your account, Shaxi keeps checking the payment and checks anything still waiting again after about an hour.
• If the tickets sold out while you paid, the money goes back to your Shaxi wallet if you were signed in. If you bought as a guest, contact support with your reference.
• Still no ticket? Contact support with the EVTTKT-… reference from the checkout screen, your ticket email or My Orders, plus the phone number you paid with and the time.

Find your tickets later

• Signed in: your tickets are in My Tickets, in the app and at shaxigh.com/events/my-tickets.
• Bought as a guest: use the link in your email or SMS, or go to Find my tickets (shaxigh.com/events/tickets/find), enter the email and phone you used, then the 6-digit code we send by SMS. When your order opens, Resend ticket link sends a fresh link. In the app, when you’re signed out: Events → My Orders → Recover guest orders.
• Guest tickets stay with the guest order. They don’t move into My Tickets if you create an account later, and they need internet to open. Website orders from before 22 Oct 2026 may have been saved as guest orders, even if you were signed in.
• From a ticket in My Tickets you can download a PDF and add the event to your calendar. In the app you can also book a ride to the venue.

At the gate

• One ticket lets one person in. Once scanned, it can’t be used again.
• Open My Tickets once while you have internet. After that those tickets work offline, and the app keeps the screen on and turns the brightness up. Guest tickets opened from a link need internet.
• If the organiser turns on a rotating code (it changes every 30 seconds by default), screenshots and PDFs won’t work. Show the live ticket in the app, or keep the ticket page open in your browser.
• Phone dead? Gate staff can find your ticket by your name or the ticket’s serial number and let you in.
